Throne of Grace

Holiday! Something we all love to hear, thinking of holiday bring a smile on our face, the excitement adds on and it’s always great to find good holiday package deals, have fun time with family and friends ,have a good entertainment , parties and so .But have we thought about a desperate soul looking for help , someone who is unable to share their pain, is there any hope for them , as a children of God is there something we can do?

At some point of life we might have or someone we know could have come across hurdles, temptation, fear and helpless situation, someone might be desperately trying to find help, compassion or even a few words of encouragement and to say everything will be alright .some of us might be church goers and still struggle with certain situations in our life , we are hesitant, ashamed and guilty to take everything to God in prayer and we avoid reading the word of God because our sins stops us.

Beloved in Christ , bible never asked us to stop coming to Lord.

Have a look into Hebrews 4:16 the verse says “ Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace , that we might find mercy and grace to help in the time of need.”

Yes, bible asks us to go near to God with confidence taking all our sins, shame, weakness, every negativity, hopelessness, filthy thoughts and actions to the presence of our Lord Jesus because only our High priest Lord Jesus knows us and our pain. The word of God says that Jesus Christ has been tempted in every way as we are but was without sin and this can be possible in our life only if we approach the throne of grace.

As,Bible says in Heb 4:15“For we do not have a High priest who is unable to sympathise with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.”

Now knowing the truth from the word of God it is for us to go into His mighty presence and give ourselves to the Lord ,get into the relationship with God and let the the Holy Spirit take control and teach us how to pray, no matter who we are and what we are , God knows us and loves us unconditionally .He knows our weaknesses, failures, hopelessness, He knows us in and out ,let us then take the confidence to come to the throne of grace and completely surrender so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in the time our needs. May the word of God give us courage.
