History of GGIC
Dating back 11 years ago, in November 2007 few tamil families joined and prayed together in their homes every week. On 1st January 2008, families wanted to attend a new year service but noticed there was none near to Watford with few churches conducting watchnight service in central London. We felt the urge to join and prepare ourselves for the forthcoming year. Thereby our first new year tamil service was conducted in St Michael’s church with families arriving from Cambridge, Leicester, Harrow and Reading.
We felt that praying, worshipping and sharing word of God together in our homes weekly strengthened our inner being and many witnessed the movement of God mightily in their lives. From 2008, we started with small gathering as “Watford Tamil Fellowship” in West Watford free church. Many families joined together and now with the Highest Orders mighty grace and blessings on 2012, we groomed as “Glory of God Illuminated Church (Revelation:21:23)”
Our church has witnessed and humbled to host many men of God all around the globe, with many receiving miracles and wonders from our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!
We stand as a testimony on how God’s hand brings families together and build them together as a church, thereby getting ready as a bride to meet her groom Jesus Christ !
